The 9th arrest in the Mandsaur matrimonial fraud case: A Panchayat secretary turns out to be the mastermind; Pakistan-Nepal connections are being investigated.

The scope of the investigation is continuously expanding in the case of a cyber fraud of ₹7.5 lakh from a woman in Mandsaur's Shamgarh through a matrimonial site. Police have arrested Wasil Siddiqui, the ninth accused linked to an interstate cyber fraud gang, from Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday. He is accused of providing mule bank accounts from Agra and Firozabad to the gang. It is worth noting that this is in addition to the six main accused from Bihar and two from Bhopal.
