The indefinite strike by agricultural extension officers across the state continues. The officials have been staging a sit-in at the Deputy Director of Agriculture office in the district headquarters since August 25, demanding their pending demands be addressed. This strike has disrupted the department's field work during the agricultural season, causing difficulties for farmers in accessing technical guidance on crops, pest and disease control, and information on agricultural schemes. The e-attendance system is also affected.
