In Bhopal, there will no longer be uniform rules for development in every area. The Master Plan-2047 will determine the direction of the city's development, but the real change in already developed areas will come from the Local Area Plan (LAP). The draft outlines different development models tailored to the city's needs. In MP Nagar, the redevelopment of old buildings will be facilitated by granting higher FAR, while in Shivaji Nagar and Tulsi Nagar, a model of selective construction will be adopted by preserving greenery.
