Hemant Vaidya, a teacher at the Government Secondary School in Kanja, Shajapur district, has been honored with the state-level Teacher Award in Bhopal on Teachers' Day. He was presented with a citation, a shawl and certificate, and an honorarium of ₹25,000 in the presence of the Chief Minister, Governor, and Education Minister. Hemant Vaidya, a mathematics and science teacher and school in-charge, has been preparing children for competitive exams for the past 10 years.
