Complaints regarding smart meters and increased electricity bills: No solution found; consumer grievance camp under the Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Yojana in Chhindwara.

In Chhindwara, a consumer grievance redressal camp was organized on Friday at the MPEB Town Office under the Mukhyamantri Jan Vishwas Yojana. Manish Kumar, CMD of MPEB, also arrived from Bhopal to listen to the problems of electricity consumers and farmers. The highest number of complaints in the camp were related to smart meters and inflated electricity bills. Consumers continuously approached officials with their complaints regarding bill scrutiny and smart meter issues during the camp.
