This time, Bhopal will celebrate the Zero Waste Ganpati festival. The Ganesh pandals that are kept clean and tidy will receive awards. Five such pandals and Bhandara committees have been included. On Saturday, Mayor Malti Rai held a meeting to celebrate the Shri Ganesh Utsav on a clean and zero-waste basis. She said that under clean competition, those who keep the Lord Shri Ganesh's pandal organized on a zero-waste basis and conduct Bhandaras on a zero-waste basis will be rewarded.
