Attempted arson in Bhopal Mayor's car: The car was parked at the corporation headquarters; burning papers were thrown on top, and hands were burned when trying to extinguish them.

An attempt was made to set fire to the car of Bhopal Mayor Malti Rai, in which an employee's hand was burned. The incident was carried out by Sunil Raikwar, and another employee helped him extinguish the fire.
