In Bhopal, Sarpanches (village heads) held a protest at Roshanpura intersection, stating that the former Chief Minister had promised them something and now they want it fulfilled.

On Wednesday, sarpanches held a protest at Roshanpura intersection in Bhopal. Sarpanches under the banner of the National Sarpanch Association gathered at one place to address issues related to panchayats and their demands. They raised several demands before the central and state governments, including granting more powers to panchayats, increasing the honorarium of sarpanches, and starting pension schemes. During this time, the association also accused former Chief Minister and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of breaking his promises.
