Lung infection, patient sent to AIIMS by air ambulance: referred to Bhopal for chest surgery, another patient airlifted from Datia.

Balkishan Kushwaha, a 53-year-old resident of Indergarh, who was admitted to Datia District Hospital, was sent to Bhopal AIIMS by air ambulance on Thursday. The patient has a severe infection in his lungs and requires chest surgery due to a breathing leak. The air ambulance flight could not take off on Wednesday as permission was not received from Bhopal ATC. Following this, the patient was readmitted to the ICU of the district hospital.
