Former Minister Bhargava's relative arrested: ED arrests Shironj's suspended Janpad CEO Shobhit Tripathi, accused of a ₹30 crore scam in a marriage scheme.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken action against Shobhit Tripathi, the then and suspended CEO of Sironj Janpad Panchayat, on charges of fraud in Madhya Pradesh's marriage assistance scheme. Shobhit Tripathi is said to be a relative of former minister Gopal Bhargava. The allegation is that while serving as the Janpad Panchayat CEO in Sironj, Shobhit Tripathi committed a scam of approximately ₹30.18 crore in the marriage assistance scheme. ED
