On September 17th, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a large-scale Deepotsav (festival of lights) will be held in Madhya Pradesh. Under the Seva-Sankalp Abhiyan (Service-Resolution Campaign), lamps will be lit simultaneously across the state at 7 pm. Preparations are underway to light more than 5.8 million lamps throughout the state. Lamps will also be lit in every ward of gram panchayats and urban bodies.
