The School Education Department has taken significant action ahead of the review by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for pending cases of compassionate appointments. The department has issued orders granting compassionate appointments to the kin of 618 employees who died in a single day, including 587 vacancies in various divisions across the state and 31 vacancies in the Directorate of Public Instruction. All appointments have been made at the Assistant Grade-3 (Clerk) level.
