The Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) of Betul district, Dr. Manoj Kumar Hurmade, has been removed from his position. District Health Officer Dr. Sanjeev Sharma has been assigned the charge of CMHO until further orders. The state government issued this order on Monday. The order comes from the state government. Dr. Hurmade is under investigation for alleged irregularities in the recruitment and payment of outsourced employees. An investigation has been initiated against him.
