Extortion at Bhopal station in DRM's presence: Taking ₹10 to ₹40 for free urinal and ₹2 toilet; video surfaced during cleanliness program.

A cleanliness drive was underway at Bhopal railway station around 9 am on Thursday. During this time, several senior officials, including Bhopal Railway Division's DRM Pankaj Tyagi, were present in the premises. At that same time, complaints surfaced about employees asking passengers for money for free urinals and charging them more than the fixed toilet fee at the pay-and-use toilet counter. Passengers also recorded videos of the incident on their phones. Employees were seen demanding money in front of a board with "Free" written on it.
