A new bridge will soon be constructed on the Son River near the Anuppur district headquarters at a cost of 14 crore rupees, connecting Anuppur and Kotma. The Bridge Corporation Shahdol has sought permission from the Bhopal headquarters to re-issue the tender, which was issued a month ago. However, a response has not yet been received. The goal is to complete the tender process and construct the new bridge within two years, once departmental approval is obtained. According to the Bridge Corporation, the construction of the new bridge is expected to begin in six months.
