The festive season has begun with Navratri. During this time, there is a possibility of adulterated mawa and paneer being sold. In such a situation, the Food Safety Department in Bhopal will now inspect sweet shops and dairies. Buses and trains will also be monitored. Last year, mawa and paneer coming to Bhopal via Gwalior and Ahmedabad were seized. It is worth noting that the demand for sweets, milk and milk products, namkeens, and other food items increases during Dussehra, Navratri, and Diwali.
