The water budget for the Rabi season has been finalized.

A detailed water budget for irrigation for the Rabi crop 2026-27 has been prepared in the meeting of the District Water Utility Committee. In the meeting held on Monday, a target has been set to irrigate crops in a total of 1,31,252 hectares of agricultural land across the district. A timetable has been fixed for water distribution from canals for this purpose. Crops in 80,000 hectares from Sehore, 11,020 hectares from Barna, and 40,000 hectares from Kolar will receive water. The canals of Kolar and Sehore divisions will be operational from November 1st.
