Gauranashi learned badminton through gestures; when she couldn't practice, she practiced on video calls.
Gauranshi, who first picked up a racket at the age of seven and was part of the summer camp at TT Nagar Stadium in Bhopal, will now represent India on the international court. She has been selected for the Indian team for the Asia Pacific Deaf Junior Badminton Championship to be held in Malaysia from October 3rd to 10th. She is the only player from Madhya Pradesh participating in the championship. The women's team also includes players from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu.
