In Madhya Pradesh, the Ayushman scheme will be boycotted starting tomorrow due to the opposition to outstanding dues from private hospitals and new rules. The protest will include demonstrations with 110 ambulances.
Private hospitals in Madhya Pradesh will indefinitely boycott the Ayushman scheme starting tomorrow, October 8th. Patients will not be treated under the Ayushman scheme here. They also demanded the immediate removal of the requirement for an NBHS certificate. The government has decided that eligibility for treatment in a hospital will be based on the NBHS certificate. Most hospitals in Bhopal owe an average of 15 to 20 million rupees to the Ayushman scheme.
