65 hospitals in MP excluded from Ayushman Yojana: Patients will no longer receive free treatment in 20 hospitals, including Sevakunj, Geetabhavan, and Choitharam Eye Hospital in Indore.

The state government has taken action against hospitals that are not following the rules under the Ayushman Bharat 'Nirayam' scheme. As part of this, a decision has been made to de-empanel 65 hospitals, including 19 hospitals in Indore. Now, patients will not be able to avail treatment benefits under the Ayushman scheme in these hospitals. This decision was taken at a meeting of the State Impanelment Committee of the Deendayal Health Security Council on October 8.
