The National Green Tribunal (NGT) held a hearing on the violation of Solid Waste Management Rules-2016 and 2026, illegal waste dumping, and unscientific disposal of legacy waste in Bhopal city and Madhya Pradesh. The bench also strongly reprimanded those responsible and sought an action taken report within four weeks.
