The National Green Tribunal (NGT) heard a petition filed regarding unauthorized construction and untreated sewage discharge in the Bhoj Wetland (Bada Talab and Chhota Talab) of Bhopal. The court stated that illegal constructions should be removed from the 50-meter buffer zone within three months. It also directed the installation of cameras at the outflow. Justice Shayokumar Singh and expert member Sudhir Kumar Chaturvedi heard the petition filed by environmentalist Nitin Saxena and delivered the verdict.
