The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has issued orders in a case of water snake farming in the Bhopal area of India. The NGT has directed the Pollution Control Board to conduct regular checks on the water of the lake. The NGT had also formed a committee to investigate the matter. The case pertains to the alleged use of pesticides during water snake farming in the Bada Talab (Upper Lake) and concerns related to the ecological health of the lake.
