Contractors protest at the PHE office in Bhopal: A sit-in with drums and noise, a situation created by clashes between ENC (Engineering Director) and Additional Director.

The ongoing dispute between Principal Engineer Sanjay Andhwan and Additional Director of Finance Anju Singh regarding the movement of financial files in the PHE (Public Health Engineering) department in Bhopal has now escalated into a protest. On Wednesday, the contractor for the Ekal Nal Jal Yojana (Individual Tap Water Scheme) and the disgruntled officials staged a sit-in outside the Principal Engineer's office (ENC) (Jal Bhavan), accompanied by drums and cymbals. The protesters are demanding pending payments. Information about the matter has reached the ACS (Additional Chief Secretary) and the Principal Secretary of Finance.
