EOW raid at PWD Executive Engineer's house: ₹2.5 lakh in cash and a vehicle worth ₹25 lakh found in Balaghat; investigation also underway in Chhindwara-Bhopal.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has raided the official residence of Kamal Kishore Singare, an Executive Engineer at the Public Works Department (PWD) Project Implementation Unit in Balaghat. This action was taken today, Thursday, at 6 am in a case related to disproportionate assets. The EOW team is also conducting simultaneous raids at his residences in Chhindwara and Bhopal. The action, led by DSP Manjeet Singh, is being carried out under the leadership of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).
