Prisoner attempts to escape from Hamidia Hospital: Descended using a pipeline through the fourth-floor window, caught on the ground floor.

A prisoner serving a life sentence in Narmadapuram jail claimed to have swallowed a piece of tin before attempting to escape and rushed to the hospital. After being admitted to Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal, he tried to escape around 3 am by climbing down from the fourth-floor toilet window using a pipeline. However, he was caught before leaving the hospital premises. The incident lasted for about an hour.
