Teachers in Bhopal are staging an indefinite sit-in protest starting today, demanding the abolition of TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) requirements, ending service calculation from initial appointment, and making e-attendance voluntary.

The Adhyapak Shikshak Sanyukt Morcha will begin an indefinite sit-in protest at Neelam Park in Bhopal on Sunday, September 27th. The Morcha has clarified that the movement will continue until a concrete resolution to the demands is reached. Teachers from across the state will arrive in Bhopal to participate in the dharna. The three main demands of the Morcha include ending the requirement for TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) for teachers and extending service from the date of initial appointment.
