Assault on lawyer...Jahangirabad TI and two others suspended: The dispute arose over asking for directions. Lawyer insists on FIR; DCP seeks report in 7 days.

The police department has taken action in the case of assaulting advocate Rakesh Rawal at Jahangirabad Police Station in Bhopal. DCP Zone-1 has suspended three policemen, including Jahangirabad Station Incharge Rajan Singh Ahirwar. Those suspended also include constables Yash Lakhera and Ramswaroop. All three have been attached to the Reserve Center during their suspension period. The primary investigation into the matter is to be completed in seven days and a report submitted.
