In Madhya Pradesh, continuous rainfall has led to flood-like conditions in Satna, Chitrakoot, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, and Panna. Chitrakoot has been experiencing torrential rain for the past 18 hours. The Mandakini River is currently flooded by about 30 feet. A large bridge, approximately 300 meters long, at Ramghat was swept away due to strong currents. Ramghat and Bharatghat are completely submerged. Around 400 shops along the ghats have been inundated. Floodwater has reached inside Naya Gaon Rajmahal. People are stranded in their homes and hotels.
