Psychosocial center launched in Central Jail: Jail DG says attention will be given to the mental health, improvement, and rehabilitation of prisoners.

A psychological care center has been launched at Bhopal Central Jail to identify and provide expert counseling to inmates in Bhopal who are suffering from mental stress, anxiety, and other problems. The center, which was inaugurated on Thursday, September 24th by Dr. Varun Kapoor, IPS, DG of the Jail Department, is a collaboration with the Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Gandhinagar. Approximately 3,300 inmates at Bhopal Central Jail will benefit from this facility, which is part of RRU's initiative.
