Scindia declared the Shivpuri sewer project a failure, stating that an investigation into corruption would take place and that the old sewer line would be operational by Dussehra.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia arrived in Shivpuri on Saturday evening. He held a review meeting with officials at the Collectorate to assess the ongoing development works and various schemes in the district. In a press conference after the meeting, he provided information on issues related to the sewer project, drug trafficking, land mafia, and the city's development. Scindia expressed his displeasure over the 115 crore sewer scheme and criticized Shivpuri's sewer plan.
