Dehradun: 107 unauthorized madrasas in Uttarakhand have been shut down; Haridwar district has the highest number of locked madrasas.

Following the government's crackdown on unapproved madrasas in the state, 107 of them have been closed down. Among these, the highest number, 102, are located in the Haridwar district.
