Uttarakhand: Don't panic... the earthquake siren will ring today, a test will be conducted every month on the ninth. The earthquake early warning system in Uttarakhand is all set for testing, and on Friday, at 11 am, a siren will ring on your mobile. This siren will not be a notification of an actual earthquake, but rather a test of the system and for awareness purposes. Disaster Management Secretary Vinod Kumar Suman stated that there is no need to panic.
