Uttarakhand Students' Union Election: ABVP Dominates, Independents Also Show Strength, Counting Continues in Several Districts The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) dominated the students' union elections held across 137 government and private colleges, four universities, and their campuses in the state. Independent candidates emerged victorious in several colleges. The ABVP claimed victory in 55 colleges, while the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) claimed victory in 24 colleges. Counting continued late into the night across several districts.
