The incident occurred on Monday morning when the bear suddenly attacked a villager who was on his way to work for the MGNREGA scheme at Dharkot village, Gram Panchayat Silogi in Chamba block. Virendra Tiwari was injured in the attack and was rushed to the district hospital in Baurari for treatment, where he is currently undergoing treatment. According to the advertisement information, Virendra Tiwari was attacked around 7:30 am when he was on his way to work.
