Uttarakhand: Preparations underway to tackle the power crisis in the state, with mega battery banks being built at four locations; approval from the regulatory commission. Amidst high demand and limited availability of electricity in Uttarakhand, Patanjali and Army Infotech will now set up four mega Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESs). The Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission has approved the draft tariff and purchase agreement for four ambitious projects with a capacity of 76 MW (190 MWh) in the state.
