JNU: FIR against sacked professor-Congress MP, accused of raping 11 students; report contains several pieces of evidence. The police have registered an FIR against Angomcha Bimal Akoijam, a professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and a Congress Lok Sabha MP, in connection with the case of alleged rape of 11 students. The Vasant Kunj North Police, based on the investigation report of the university's internal committee and the Chief Security Officer's report, has filed the FIR.
