In Gurugram, India's state vigilance and anti-corruption bureau has completed its investigation against the accused Patwari in a high-profile bribery case and submitted the chargesheet to the court. The ACB had arrested a junior Patwari, Rajesh Malhan, red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹15,000 for transferring a piece of land. In this regard, a case was registered against the Patwari on July 6, 2026, under serious sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
