Following heavy rainfall in Gurugram, the city's busiest Rajiv Chowk underpass was completely submerged due to waterlogging. The Civil Defence team conducted a live mock drill to rescue people from drowning by lowering boats and life jackets into the flooded underpass. This is being seen as a unique attempt by the administration to find 'opportunity in adversity'. Officials say that it was a routine water rescue exercise.
