In Gurugram, India, on Monday, Congress's rural district president, Vardhan Yadav, visited the Farrukhnagar grain market. He was accompanied by state spokesperson Sukhbir J. Tanwar and block president Sunil Yadav. They reviewed the government procurement of millet. Vardhan Yadav stated that the MSP for millet is fixed at ₹2900 per quintal. However, not a single farmer's millet has been purchased in the market for the past 5 days, forcing farmers and traders to sell their crops. He also criticized the government.
