In Bhiwani, the Haryana Electricity Employees and Engineers Joint Struggle Front launched a public relations campaign against the privatization of electricity. During this time, State Secretary Ravindra Ghanghas and State Senior Vice President Baljit Beniwal stated that after Gurugram and Nuh, preparations for privatization are now underway in 5 districts of Haryana (Faridabad, Palwal, Sonipat, Panipat, and Karnal). This comes after the strike that took place from August 11 to 13.
