These fraudsters are using this data to send messages directly to consumers' mobile numbers, defrauding them of lakhs of rupees under the pretext of pending bills or connection issues. The latest case involves Pramod Gupta, a real estate businessman residing in the posh Imperial Garden Society located on the Dwarka Expressway.
