Farmers in Sonipat protested, raising seven demands including the purchase of crops at MSP (Minimum Support Price); they warned of a movement.

In Sonipat, hundreds of farmers under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Sidhupur staged a protest at the main gate of the district headquarters, expressing their anger against the government. The farmers sat on the protest from 11 am to 5 pm. Following this, they submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Naib Saini through the DC, raising seven demands including proper compensation for hypertension lines and procurement of crops at MSP. The farmers warned that if their demands are not met, they will take major action.
