In Gurugram, Abhay Chautala condemned the demolition of a temple and said that the BJP is engaged in looting religious places. He demanded action against the responsible officials.

In the case of the demolition of Baba Balak Nath's samadhi and temple located in Sector 50, Gurugram, by the Haryana Urban Development Authority, senior Indian National Lok Dal leader Abhay Singh Chautala visited Jharasa on Monday. He visited the temple premises, interacted with the villagers, and strongly condemned this action. INLD leader Abhay Chautala alleged that the government, in collusion with a builder, demolished this religious site and the cowshed.
