Smriti Irani appointed Haryana BJP in-charge: Dr. Bhola Singh, MP from UP, was made co-in-charge; a woman is in command for the first time in the state.

The BJP central leadership has released a list of in-charges for 36 states and union territories. Former Union Minister Smriti Irani has been given the responsibility of Haryana. Prior to this, Dr. Satish Poonia was the Haryana in-charge from July 2024. Later, he was assigned the responsibility of Punjab. The list of new in-charges was released on Wednesday by Tarun Chugh, who is also in charge of the national headquarters.
