In Gurugram, fake police officers cheated an elderly man by swindling him out of his gold bracelet and then pretending to replace it with a genuine one on paper. When he returned home, he found that they had given him a fake one instead.

A sensational case of fraud by fake policemen has come to light in Gurugram, India. Two cunning fraudsters, posing as police officers, lured a 65-year-old elderly woman into their trap with false promises and fled with her gold bangles after deceiving her. Jagdish Chand, a resident of Sector-7 Extension, stated in his complaint to the New Colony Police Station that he is a senior citizen living with his wife, Sarla Kumari (65 years old).
