The Haryana Electricity Employees and Engineers Joint Struggle Front has protested against the proposal to grant a parallel electricity distribution license to a private company at the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) in Samalkha, Panipat district. The front submitted a memorandum to Vivek Tripathi, representative of Samalkha MLA Manmohan Bhadana, regarding this issue. They demanded intervention in public interest and raising this matter in the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly.
