The discovery of the leopard's body caused panic among the villagers. A team from the Forest Department and Wildlife Department reached the spot and took custody of the body to begin an investigation. According to reports, a woman from the village had gone near the graveyard on Friday morning when she spotted the leopard at the foot of the Aravalli range.
