In Gurugram, India, a firing incident occurred between the police and three drug smugglers. During the encounter, two criminals were injured by bullets in their legs. One police officer was also injured by a bullet. In response to the six bullets fired by the accused, the police team fired three bullets in self-defense. The police recovered 136 grams of MDMA, a pistol, a country-made knife, and an empty shell from the accused. The accused have been identified as Marthata alias Maru.
