Seeing a Facebook advertisement for a pension card turned out to be costly: a retired soldier in Indore was defrauded of ₹1.23 lakh; the money was withdrawn in six installments using an OTP.

A 75-year-old retired army jawan residing in the Pardesipura area of Indore, India, was defrauded online of ₹123,000 in the name of creating a pension card.
